tsBeall is a Dumfries-based artist working with sound, performance and participatory methods to explore relationships between people, place and the natural world. Through Turning the Tide in Dumfries, tsBeall supported creative dialogue around the river Nith and the climate justice plight of Showpeople who have a traditional fair on its banks. Water and climate resilience in Dumfries were explored: translating environmental themes into sensory and emotional experiences. Tara’s work blends artistic experimentation with sensitivity to history and heriage with deep listening, opening up new ways to think about ecological change and collective responsibility.
